Our Practice and Values

Fraser Associates was established in 1987. We aim to deliver high quality consultancy cost effectively. These are simple aims but, in practice, are not straightforward to achieve. Our approach to their realisation is based upon:

  • enthusiasm for our subject and a belief that we can make a difference.
  • belief that high quality output demands a significant proportion of senior input.
  • focus on a limited range of related areas where we can exploit specialist expertise.
  • good project management and avoidance of over-commitment.
  • co-operation with partners with proven skills, who share our integrity and commitment to delivery.

Regional economic development is becoming more competitive and more sophisticated. However, there are significant prizes available to regions and partnerships that can raise their game as well as their aspirations.

We are demanding of our clients as we believe they are entitled to be of us. We will not tell you what you want to hear, but what we believe you need to know. For some clients this takes a bit of getting used to. Nevertheless, it is the foundation of the relationship we enjoy with all of our long-term clients.

We aim to be positive. We will not set you puzzles where we see no answers. We have a wealth of experience in developing practical solutions to the challenges faced by programme managers and practitioners.
